Stardew Valley
Before you start2 missables
- Difficulty
- Starting on hardest is not required. No achievement depends on a difficulty setting, so there is nothing to start on. Start any save as you like; only the Community Center or Joja choice needs planning.
Difficulty details
Nothing asks for fast reactions or hard bosses. The challenge is planning many long goals together, and the arcade games, the Dangerous Mines and the Perfection total need some care.
- Missables
- 2 missable achievements.
Missable details
Joining Joja closes the Community Center route and finishing the bundles closes Joja. Everything else stays available, and yearly events return next year.
- Co-op
- No co-op requirement recorded.
Online details
Every achievement can be earned in single player.
- Save planning
- Review the recorded save or replay precautions before advancing.
Read precautions
This route and Joja Co. Member Of The Year exclude each other on one save. To earn both achievements you need a second save: pick one route per playthrough.

100% achievement checklist
Community Center or Joja
- Local Legend. Restore the Pelican Town Community Center by completing all of its bundles. The reopening ceremony after the last bundle unlocks the achievement.
- Decide your route first. Buying a Joja membership from Morris (5,000g) turns the Community Center into a Joja Warehouse the day after you pay, and from then on the bundles cannot be finished on that save. Finishing every bundle also shuts the membership option for good.
- The Community Center has six rooms: Crafts Room, Pantry, Fish Tank, Boiler Room, Bulletin Board and Vault. The full bundle list below shows every bundle with its items and reward.
- Hand items in room by room. A finished bundle gives its own reward straight away; the reward for finishing a whole room arrives at the end of that day. Anything you did not collect can be found in a brown bag to the left of the Junimo Hut.
- Bundles without a quality listed accept any quality, and a better quality is also accepted when one is listed.
- Crafts Room reward: the bridge to the Quarry is repaired. Pantry reward: the Greenhouse. Fish Tank reward: the glittering boulder is removed, Willy gives you a Copper Pan and the broken tank becomes a working Fish Tank. Boiler Room reward: the minecarts are repaired. Vault reward: the bus is repaired, opening the Calico Desert.
- Bulletin Board reward: 2 hearts (500 friendship points) with every non-datable villager you have met in person. This helps the friendship achievements later.
- The Vault bundles are paid in gold, not items: 2,500g, 5,000g, 10,000g and 25,000g, which is 42,500g in total.
- When the last bundle is in, the Community Center reopening ceremony plays. It unlocks Local Legend and awards the Stardew Hero Trophy.
- Afterwards Willy sends a letter inviting you to his back room, where the boat to Ginger Island is repaired (see A Distant Shore).
- Joja Co. Member Of The Year. Buy every Joja Community Development project. You can only do this by joining Joja instead of finishing the Community Center bundles.
- Pay Morris 5,000g for a Joja membership. The day after you pay, the Community Center becomes a Joja Warehouse and the Joja Community Development Form opens at Morris' counter.
- Buy the projects from the form one at a time; only one can be bought per day. There are five: Bus to the Desert (40,000g), Bridge to the Quarry (25,000g), removing the glittering boulder so you can pan (20,000g), Minecarts (15,000g) and Greenhouse (35,000g).
- All five cost 135,000g, which is 140,000g with the membership. The form gives no friendship rewards, so the Bulletin Board hearts from the bundle route are not available.
- A room you completed with bundles before joining shows its project as already done. Partly finished rooms give no discount. Whether pre-finished rooms still count toward this achievement is not confirmed, so check your Steam page after the last purchase.
- After the Joja Warehouse completion cutscene you can buy the Soda Machine and, for 50,000g, the Auto-Petter, and Willy sends the same back-room invitation as on the bundle route.

- You do not need to do anything special for the unlock; it appears once the total is reached.
Friends and family
- A New Friend. Reach 5 hearts with any one villager.
- Friendship is counted in points, 250 per heart. Give a villager one gift per day; birthday gifts are always allowed.
- Non-datable villagers can reach 10 hearts. Datable villagers stop at 8 hearts until you give them a bouquet, after which they can reach 10. A spouse or roommate can go up to 14.
- If you finish the Community Center Bulletin Board room, every non-datable villager you have met in person gains 2 hearts at once,; that is a big head start toward 5 hearts.
- Best Friends. Reach 10 hearts with any one villager.
- Pick a non-datable villager if you want the shortest route: they can reach 10 hearts without a bouquet.
- Cliques. Reach 5 hearts with 4 different villagers.
- Networking. Reach 5 hearts with 10 different villagers.
- Friendship is counted in points, 250 per heart. Give a villager one gift per day; birthday gifts are always allowed.

- Popular. Reach 5 hearts with 20 different villagers.
- Meet everyone in person early. The Introductions quest has you greet the town; the Wizard is not part of its bonus.
- The Beloved Farmer. Reach 10 hearts with 8 different villagers.
- Remember that datable villagers need a bouquet before they can pass 8 hearts, so non-datable villagers are the simplest way to fill the eight.
- Full House. Get married and have two children.
- Upgrade the farmhouse once to allow marriage (see Moving Up), then upgrade it a second time (see Living Large). The second upgrade adds the nursery with a crib and two child beds.
- Choose a spouse among the twelve single villagers. Bachelors: Alex, Elliott, Harvey, Sam, Sebastian and Shane. Bachelorettes: Abigail, Emily, Haley, Leah, Maru and Penny.
- Dating comes first. Friendship stops at 8 hearts until you give your choice a bouquet. Buy a bouquet from Pierre's General Store for 200g; Pierre mails you the morning after you first reach 8 hearts with someone. The bouquet unlocks the 9th and 10th hearts.
- At 10 hearts you need a Mermaid's Pendant. Mayor Lewis sends a letter the day after you reach 10 hearts. The Old Mariner sells the pendant for 5,000g at the tide pools on the Beach, but only on rainy days (in Winter only if you use a Rain Totem). To reach the tide pools, repair the Beach bridge with 300 Wood or buy the second community upgrade from Robin. You also need the farmhouse upgraded at least once and must not already be married.
- Give the pendant to your partner to propose. The wedding takes place 3 days after the proposal (a Monday proposal gives a Thursday wedding). It is skipped and pushed to the next free day if the day is a Green Rain day or has a town square event. After the ceremony you and your spouse appear in the farmhouse at 6am.
- Keep a 10-heart relationship with your spouse. Do not remove the crib with a renovation, or you cannot have new children.
- You must be married at least 7 days. After you go to bed, your spouse may ask whether you want a child (a 1 in 20 chance each night). Answer "yes". If you answer "not now" they ask again later, at roughly a 5% chance a night.
- Same-gender couples adopt and opposite-gender couples have a baby of their own. Either way the child arrives 14 days after you agree.
- You can have only two children, one boy and one girl: the first is random and the second is the opposite. The second child only becomes possible after the first reaches the Toddler stage (stage 4), which takes about 56 days (stages last 14, 14 and 28 days).
Farmhouse
- Moving Up. Upgrade your house once.
- Order the first upgrade from Robin. It costs 10,000g and 450 Wood and takes 3 days.
- It adds a kitchen, a fridge, a bedroom and a double bed, and it allows marriage.
- Living Large. Upgrade your house to its maximum size with the second upgrade. The cellar upgrade does not count.
- Order the second upgrade from Robin after the first. It costs 65,000g and 100 Hardwood and takes 3 days.
- It adds two rooms, one with a crib and two child beds, a larger kitchen and bedroom, and unlocks renovations and painting.
- A third upgrade (a cellar with casks, 100,000g) exists but is not needed for this achievement.
Cooking
- Cook. Cook 10 different recipes.
- Cook at the kitchen that the first house upgrade adds. Each different dish counts once.
- Cooking every dish at least once is enough; you do not need to eat them.
- Sous Chef. Cook 25 different recipes.
- Cook at the kitchen that the first house upgrade adds. Each different dish counts once.
- Cooking every dish at least once is enough; you do not need to eat them.
- Gourmet Chef. Cook every recipe: all 81 dishes in the cooking collection.
- Cook at the kitchen that the first house upgrade adds. Each different dish counts once.
- Cooking every dish at least once is enough; you do not need to eat them.
- The full list of all 81 dishes is below. Each entry says how you learn the recipe. Tick each one once you have cooked it.
- Recipes come from the Queen of Sauce show on the TV in your farmhouse (32 of the 81 dishes come from it; each entry gives its date, always a 7th, 14th, 21st or 28th), from letters that villagers send at a set number of hearts, from shops, and from skill levels. Skill-level recipes are learned on their own when you level up.
- The Queen of Sauce recipes are shown on specific days of Year 1 and Year 2. Watch the TV on those days so you do not lose a recipe.
Crafting
- D.I.Y.. Craft 15 different items.
- Craft each different item once from your crafting menu. Repeats do not count.
- The Wedding Ring never counts toward these achievements.
- Artisan. Craft 30 different items.

- The Wedding Ring never counts toward these achievements.
- Craft Master. Craft every item: all 149 recipes other than the Wedding Ring.
- Craft each different item once from your crafting menu. Repeats do not count.
- The Wedding Ring never counts toward these achievements.
- The four Wild Seeds recipes appear in the crafting menu as Wild Seeds (Sp), (Su), (Fa) and (Wi), and they make Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter Seeds.
- The full list of 149 recipes is below, grouped as the crafting menu groups them. Each entry says how you learn the recipe.
- Most recipes are learned on their own at a skill level (Farming, Foraging, Fishing, Mining or Combat). The rest are bought, mailed, won as a Special Order reward, shown in a villager event, or tied to a Mastery. Read the entry for any recipe that does not appear after the matching level-up.
Fishing
- Fisherman. Catch 10 different fish.
- Algae, seaweed and jellies count as fish for these goals. Trash does not.
- Each different species counts once.
- Ol' Mariner. Catch 24 different fish.
- Algae, seaweed and jellies count as fish for these goals. Trash does not.
- Each different species counts once.
- Mother Catch. Catch 100 fish in total.
- Algae, seaweed and jellies count as fish for these goals. Trash does not.
- Repeat catches of the same fish count here.
- Master Angler. Catch every fish: all 72 in the fish collection.
- Algae, seaweed and jellies count as fish for these goals. Trash does not.
- The five Legendary Fish II (Son of Crimsonfish, Ms. Angler, Legend II, Glacierfish Jr. and Radioactive Carp) are not required, and neither are the fish from the Extended Family quest. The original legendary fish are required.
- The full list of 72 is below. Each entry gives the place, season, weather and time of day.
- Crab Pot catches (Clam, Lobster, Crab, Cockle, Mussel, Shrimp, Snail, Periwinkle, Oyster, Crayfish) only count if they come out of a Crab Pot. Deluxe Bait gives silver quality in a Crab Pot.
- Each of the five legendary fish can be caught once per save and none can be caught while Mr. Qi's Extended Family quest is active. Challenge Bait lets up to three be present at once.
- Midnight Squid, Spook Fish and Blobfish are caught only at the Night Market in Winter (15 to 17, open 5pm to 2am) from the submarine ride, or with Magic Bait at the southwest corner of the Beach.
- The day after you finish, Willy sends a letter with a Stardrop (see Mystery Of The Stardrops).
Museum
- Treasure Trove. Donate 40 different items to the museum.
- Donate any 40 different artifacts or minerals from the lists below. Each item counts once. Every entry says where it is found.
- Artifacts come from artifact spots you dig with the hoe (much more common in Winter), from the dirt on Mines and Skull Cavern floors, from monsters, fishing treasure chests, Artifact Troves, Bone Nodes and geodes.
- A Complete Collection. Complete the museum collection by donating all 95 items.
- Donate all 42 artifacts and all 53 minerals. The lists below show each one.
- Every entry says where it is found. Geode minerals come from Geodes (Mines floors 1-39), Frozen Geodes (floors 41-79), Magma Geodes (floors 81-120) and Omni Geodes (Skull Cavern, Krobus on Tuesdays, the Oasis on Wednesdays, the Volcano Dungeon and more). Geodes also come from hoeing on the Farm and from fishing treasure chests.
- Donating all 95 items also rewards a Stardrop (see Mystery Of The Stardrops).
Farming and shipping
- Polyculture. Ship 15 of each of 28 crops.
- Ship at least 15 of every crop on the list below. Crops count when they are shipped, not when they are harvested.
- Monoculture. Ship 300 of any one of 33 crops.
- Ship 300 of one crop from the list below.
- The 28 Polyculture crops all qualify, plus five more.
- Full Shipment. Ship at least one of every item in the shipping collection (154 entries).
- Ship one of each entry on the list below. The achievement is checked from the shipping summary at the end of the day.
- The list shows a few names twice (Egg, Large Egg and Jellies and Pickles). They appear that way in the collection, so ship each variant.
- Every entry says where the item comes from: the crop and its season, a forage spot, the machine that makes it, or the animal that produces it.
Town requests
- Gofer. Complete 10 Help Wanted requests.
- Help Wanted requests are posted on the bulletin board outside Pierre's General Store; a yellow exclamation mark floats over it when a new one is up. At most one new request appears per day, and none on the first day.
- Once accepted you have 2 days (that day and the next) to finish it.
- Request types: Gathering (collect ore, coal, wood or stone after accepting), Slay Monsters (needs Mines access), Fishing (catch 1 to 5 of an in-season fish), Saying "Hello" (greet villagers; the same one twice does not count; appears after Introductions) and Item Delivery (the most common; you must hand the item over).
- Special Orders, from the Pelican Town board and from Mr. Qi, also count. Story quests do not.
- Mayor Lewis mails you 500g the day after you finish the tenth.
- A Big Help. Complete 40 Help Wanted requests.
- Mayor Lewis mails you 2,500g the day after you finish the fortieth.
Mines and monsters
- The Bottom. Reach the lowest level of the Mines, floor 120.
- The Mines have 120 floors in three sections of 40. A ladder down appears after you break rocks or beat monsters; on infested floors every enemy has to be defeated first.
- The Mines entrance has an elevator that takes you to floors you have already visited that are multiples of 5.
- Once you have Mining level 2, a Staircase (crafted from 99 Stone) lets you skip a floor.
- Floor 120 holds the Skull Key, which opens the door to the Skull Cavern in the Desert and unlocks the Junimo Kart machine at the Stardrop Saloon.
- Danger In The Deep. Reach the bottom of the "dangerous" Mines, floor 120 with the Dangerous Mines active.
- The Dangerous Mines turn on in two ways: through Mr. Qi's Special Order "Danger in the Deep", or with the Shrine of Challenge on floor 120. The two stack, so with both on the difficulty is 2.
- The order asks you to reach the bottom of the Mines and lets you use Staircases. You have 7 days and it rewards 50 gems.
- Mr. Qi's Walnut Room is on the west side of Ginger Island and is always open once unlocked. It opens when you have found 100 Golden Walnuts. A note adds that the first walnut you find is not counted, so plan on 101.
- The Shrine of Challenge stands on floor 120. It is available after Mr. Qi's Walnut Room is unlocked and Danger in the Deep is done. It switches between normal and Dangerous monsters, taking effect the next day.
- In the Dangerous Mines the floors have different themes, forage and monsters, stacked slimes can appear on any floor and Radioactive Nodes can be found.
- Protector Of The Valley. Complete all of the Adventurer's Guild Monster Slayer goals (12 monster categories).
- Kill the required number in each category listed below. Dangerous versions of the monsters count.
- Slimes living in your Slime Hutch and Big Slimes do not count toward the Slimes goal.
- Each completed goal gives a reward at the Guild; the list shows what each one gives.
Skills and books
- Singular Talent. Reach level 10 in any one skill.
- Each skill needs 15,000 XP in total for level 10 (level 1 at 100, 2 at 380, 3 at 770, 4 at 1,300, 5 at 2,150, 6 at 3,300, 7 at 4,800, 8 at 6,900, 9 at 10,000).
- Pick the skill your play already feeds the most; all five use the same XP table.
- Master Of The Five Ways. Reach level 10 in every skill.
- Each skill needs 15,000 XP in total for level 10 (level 1 at 100, 2 at 380, 3 at 770, 4 at 1,300, 5 at 2,150, 6 at 3,300, 7 at 4,800, 8 at 6,900, 9 at 10,000).
- Do this for Farming, Mining, Foraging, Fishing and Combat. Buffs can lift a level above 10 temporarily but do not count as a real level.
- Re-reading some power books gives 20 XP in every skill or 100 XP in one skill, which speeds up the slowest ones (see Well-Read).
- Well-Read. Read every book. This applies to the 19 power books only.
- Read each of the 19 power books once. The list below says where each comes from.
- Seventeen of them can be read again for XP. Price Catalogue and Animal Catalogue give nothing on a re-read.
- A Bookseller sells many of these, and several are 20,000 from year 3, so you do not have to depend on a one-time reward.
Arcade
- Prairie King. Beat "Journey of the Prairie King".
- Play the Journey of the Prairie King arcade machine in the Stardrop Saloon through to the end.
- The achievement unlocks when you beat the game.
- Fector's Challenge. Beat "Journey of the Prairie King" without dying. This is a secret achievement.
- Play Journey of the Prairie King at the Stardrop Saloon and finish it without dying.
Events, island and endgame
- A Distant Shore. Reach Ginger Island.
- Willy mails you an invitation to his back room after you finish the Community Center bundles or watch the Joja Warehouse completion cutscene.
- Repair the boat in the back room. It needs 200 Hardwood for the hull, 5 Iridium Bars for the anchor and 5 Battery Packs for the ticket stand.
- Once all three repairs are made, an overnight cutscene restores the boat. If another overnight scene is already planned, this one waits a day.
- A boat trip to Ginger Island costs a 1,000g ticket.
- Two Thumbs Up. See a movie.
- Unlock the Movie Theater. On the bundle route it comes from the Missing Bundle in the Abandoned JojaMart, which opens after you finish the Community Center, from the first night before a rainy or stormy day. On the Joja route the theater can be bought instead.
- The Missing Bundle takes 5 of 6 items: any Wine of Silver quality or better, Dinosaur Mayonnaise, a Prismatic Shard, 5 Gold quality Ancient Fruit, a Gold or Iridium quality Void Salmon, and Caviar.
- Where they come from: Wine from a Cask or the Ginger Island resort, Dinosaur Mayonnaise from a Mayonnaise Machine, the Prismatic Shard from mining, Ancient Fruit from crops, Void Salmon by fishing in the Witch's Swamp, and Caviar from a Preserves Jar using Sturgeon roe.
- Buy a ticket (about 1,000g) and watch a movie.
- Blue Ribbon. Get 1st place in the Stardew Valley Fair competition.
- The Stardew Valley Fair is on Fall 16, 9am to 3pm.
- Your Grange display needs 90 points to place 1st. Second place needs 75 and third needs 60.
- Points have four parts. 14 are given automatically. The number of items adds 2x - 9 points, so nine items give 9, eight give 7, and an empty display costs 9. Each category shown adds 5 points (the categories are Animal Products, Artisan Goods, Cooking, Fish, Foraging, Fruits, Minerals and Vegetables); six categories give the maximum 30. Each item adds up to 8 points from its sell price and quality: a normal-quality item selling for 200 or more gives 4, an iridium-quality item selling for 300 or more gives 8.
- Fill all nine spots, use at least six categories and choose valuable, high-quality items. For example eight 4-point items and one 5-point item add up to exactly 90 (14 + 37 + 9 + 30).
- First place wins 1,000 Star Tokens. The Fair also sells a Stardrop for 2,000 Star Tokens.
- An Unforgettable Soup. Delight the Governor at the Luau.
- The Luau is on Summer 11, from 9am to 2pm.
- Add an item to the soup before the Governor tastes it. A Gold or Iridium quality item from the list below gives the best reaction; a smaller set of Silver quality items also works. In multiplayer the worst item added by anyone decides the result.
- Good Neighbors. Help your forest neighbors grow their family by completing raccoon requests.
- A strong wind storm fells the tree in the forest, leaving a stump. Talk to it to start The Giant Stump quest, which needs 100 Hardwood to repair it. The day after the repair, a raccoon moves in.
- Request 1: 5 Crab Pot fish (Clam, Cockle, Crayfish, Mussel, Oyster, Periwinkle or Snail) and 1 seasonal Smoked Fish. Reward: 25 seeds.
- Request 2: 1 Dried Fruit and 1 Jelly, both made from fruit that suits the season. Reward: Raccoon Journal.
- Request 3: 1 Dried Mushrooms, plus 5 of any Egg (not Dinosaur), 5 Cave Carrot or 5 White Algae. Reward: Raccoon Hat.
- Request 4: 1 Pickles and 1 Juice, made from vegetables in season. Reward: Fairy Dust.
- Request 5: two items chosen at random from a list that includes Bat Wing, Bug Meat, Coral, Diamond, Frozen Geode, Geode, Ghostfish, Magma Geode, Moss, Rusty Spoon, Sea Urchin, Slime, Topaz and Trash. Reward: Jungle Tank.
- Requests 6 and later copy one of the first five at random.
- A new request arrives 7 days after the last one. Completing 9 earns the achievement and a cutscene that plays the next sunny day you enter Cindersap Forest.
- Mystery Of The Stardrops. Find every Stardrop: there are 7.
- Collect all seven Stardrops. A Stardrop must be eaten as soon as you get it; it cannot be stored.
- The list below shows where each one comes from.
- All seven are needed for Perfection as well.
- Infinite Power. Obtain the most powerful weapon: forge an Infinity weapon.
- Get a Galaxy weapon. The Galaxy Sword comes from taking a Prismatic Shard to the Three Pillars in the Calico Desert and standing on the centre tile between them; the shard is used up. After you own a Galaxy Sword, the Galaxy Hammer and Galaxy Dagger become buyable at the Adventurer's Guild.
- You need 3 Galaxy Souls. Qi's Walnut Room sells one for 40 Qi Gems each, and the Island Trader gives one for 10 Radioactive Bars after you have killed 50 Dangerous Monsters, on the last day of a season. Dangerous Monsters can also drop one after 50 kills, and a Galaxy Soul Big Slime in the Dangerous Mines or Skull Cavern drops one when killed.
- You need 60 Cinder Shards. They come from Cinder Shard nodes in the Volcano Dungeon, from Magma Sprites, Magma Sparkers, Magma Duggies and False Magma Caps there, from Common and Rare Chests in the Volcano Dungeon, from a Stingray Fish Pond with at least 7 fish, and from treasure rooms in the Skull Cavern after you unlock the Volcano shortcut.
- The Forge is on floor 10 of the Volcano Dungeon. Each forge uses one Galaxy Soul and 20 Cinder Shards; doing it three times turns the Galaxy weapon into its Infinity version: Infinity Blade, Infinity Gavel or Infinity Dagger. The first two forges show no visible change. Enchantments and gem forgings stay on the weapon.
- Obtaining any Infinity weapon unlocks the achievement.
- Perfection. Reach the summit. Perfection is scored as an average across the categories of the Perfection tracker.
- Perfection is the average score across all the Perfection tracker categories, so work the other achievements first.
- The tracker is a statue in Mr. Qi's Walnut Room on Ginger Island and shows eleven categories that add up to 100%: Produce and Forage Shipped 15% (all 154), Great Friends 11% (maximum hearts with all 34 villagers, including Kent), Golden Clock on the farm 10%, Monster Slayer Hero 10% (all 12 goals), Found All Stardrops 10% (7), Cooking Recipes Made 10% (81), Crafting Recipes Made 10% (149), Fish Caught 10% (72), Farmer Level 5% (level 10 in every skill), Golden Walnuts found 5% (130), and Obelisks on the farm 4% (Earth, Water, Desert and Island).
- The Obelisks and the Gold Clock together give 14% of Perfection and cost 13,000,000g to build.
- A Perfection Waiver costs 500,000g and raises the score by 1%; for example, three waivers would cost 1,500,000g. Fizz, a Joja employee, mails an invitation after you first use the tracker and meets you in the mushroom cave on Ginger Island.
- The score shown in the room is rounded down, so 80.6% shows as 80%. The Golden Walnut count on the tracker can occasionally be wrong; typing /recountnuts in chat fixes it.
- At true 100% the morning after, a message says "A rumbling sound was heard in the distance...", which opens the Summit. Visit the Summit; the first visit plays a special cutscene.
- The 1.6 update added 10 shipping items, 5 fish, 1 cooking recipe and 20 crafting recipes to the tracker. The Wedding Ring does not need to be crafted.
- All seven Stardrops are needed. Once you reach Perfection the Golden Egg becomes available for 100 gems at Qi's Walnut Room.
