About these guides
FinalUnlock is an independent fan project. It is not made, checked or approved by any game developer or publisher. The name FinalUnlock is our own; it does not imply any connection to the makers of a game or to any platform.
How the guides are written
Each guide is written to give step-by-step directions with landmarks, in our own words. Collectible names are kept as they appear in the game.
Locations are not verified by playing
We have not checked these locations in the games ourselves. Some entries will be wrong, vague or out of date, especially for games that have only just launched or that get patched. An item is marked Verified in game only if we actually found it by playing; at the moment no item carries that mark. The game's own journal, map or achievement screen is the final check, and each guide names the best in-game check for that game.
What the labels mean
- Reliable. The location is well established. It has still not been checked by playing unless the item says “Verified in game”.
- Check in game. Where the item is, how to get there, or what it is called is uncertain. The item's details give the main directions and the alternatives.
- Unconfirmed. Not yet confirmed. It may be right; treat it with care.
Other tags: Easy to miss (small, hidden or time-limited), Side mission locked (only appears after a side mission), and Reference only (listed for completeness, not counted toward the totals).
