Black Myth: Wukong (all chapters)
Black Wind Mountain
Point of no return: Ringing the three bells and beating Elder Jinchi in the secret area removes the Wandering Wight for this playthrough (its spirit and the Cat Eye Beads curio go with it). Every NPC in this chapter is also gone once Chapter 2 starts.
- Curio – Cat Eye Beads (Reliable). Dropped by the Wandering Wight, a stone-headed elite standing on the path ahead of the first shrine area in the Forest of Wolves, a short walk from the Outside the Forest shrine. Defeat it before beating Elder Jinchi in the Chapter 1 secret area. Watch out: Missable: Wandering Wight is gone once Elder Jinchi is beaten. It may return in New Game+.
- Curio – Agate Jar (Reliable). In Black Wind Cave, in the arena of the Black Wind King, in a small container to the left of the boss's couch or table. If it isn't there, check the centre of the arena.
- Curio – Back Scratcher (Check in game). Sold in the shrine shop (Keeper's Shrine) in the Chapter 1 area. It is bought, not found.
- Curio – Boshan Censer (Reliable). Dropped by Red Loong, a hidden boss behind the waterfall on the left side of the Outside the Forest area (Forest of Wolves). The waterfall only opens once you carry the Loong Scales from Chapter 2, so fast-travel back here afterwards.
- Curio – Wind Chime (Deluxe Edition only) (Reliable). Deluxe Edition bonus. Pick it up at the first shrine, Front Hills in the Forest of Wolves. It cannot be obtained without the Deluxe Edition.
- Gourd – Old Gourd (Reliable). The gourd you start with. It is upgraded at the Shen Monkey vendor and finally becomes the Supreme Gourd (see Chapter 5).
- Gourd – Trailblazer's Scarlet Gourd (Check in game). Included with the Deluxe Edition (or its upgrade) and picked up at the first shrine, Front Hills in the Forest of Wolves. Without the Deluxe Edition you may be given it in Chapter 3 at New Thunderclap Temple after meeting the Horse Guai.
- Transformation – Red Tides (Reliable). Beat Guangzhi, the fire-wielding boss in the arena across the bridge at the far end of the Outside the Forest area (Forest of Wolves), and take his weapon. You turn into a wolf guai whose attacks add scorch build-up.
- Vessel – Fireproof Mantle (Reliable). Ring all three bells in Black Wind Mountain, then beat the secret boss Elder Jinchi in the Ancient Guanyin Temple secret area. Watch out: Beat the Wandering Wight before beating Elder Jinchi.
- Spirit – Wandering Wight (Reliable). Stone-headed elite standing in a clearing a short walk from the Outside the Forest shrine. The spirit can only be absorbed once the old man at Snake Trail gives you the Blessed Gourd; an unclaimed spirit flame can be recovered at any shrine. Watch out: Missable: it is gone after Elder Jinchi is beaten.
- Spirit – Baw-Li-Guhh-Lang (Reliable). Frog boss near the Snake Trail shrine in Bamboo Grove, in the riverbed just past Guanyin Temple.
- Spirit – Guangmou (Reliable). Elite in a wide clearing near the Snake Trail shrine in Bamboo Grove.

From the Outside the Forest shrine go down the path through the cave, with the spot straight ahead. Alternatively, after the Bullguard fight go through the temple behind the arena and take the path on the left.
- Meditation Spot – The Cavern (Bamboo Grove) (Reliable). In the centre of a cave, next to the talking horse (the Horse Guai). - Meditation Spot – The Cliff (Black Wind Cave) (Reliable). From the Marsh of White Mist shrine in Bamboo Grove go down the wooden platforms to the shallow lake (the Whiteclad Noble boss lives there), then through the temple-like cave to the wooden balcony straight ahead. The spot is on the edge.
- Always Accompanied – talk to the Old Man (Snake Trail) (Reliable). Up the stairs from the Snake Trail shrine in Bamboo Grove, to the right. He gives you the Blessed Gourd. Exhaust all his dialogue. Watch out: He is gone when Chapter 2 starts. The achievement needs a full conversation in every chapter plus the Supreme Gourd.
- Urge Unfulfilled – talk to the Horse Guai (Back Hills cave) (Reliable). In the cave beside the Back Hills shrine path, the same cave as The Cavern meditation spot. Exhaust all his dialogue. Watch out: He is gone when Chapter 2 starts. Skipping a chapter's talk fails the quest (and the Dark Thunder transformation).
